In 2019, when the habitat plan was coming together for Project 19, much of the design was a product of optimizing the hunting success. Tom laid much of the habitat out to provide easy bulletproof entry and exit, maximize edges, and encourage daylight movement. One of these locations is where food, timber, and warm season grasses converge creating an excellent location for a blind. This week, Tom talks about the design, how the deer have utilized the area, and why is such a great hunting location.
