Wild hogs have the ability to breed at the age of just 6 months and combined with a short gestation period, they quickly become a destructive problem for anyone who has them on their land. On a client’s farm in south Texas, hogs are everywhere so we took it as an opportunity to try out a couple Bull Creek traps and see if we could thin the numbers trapping hogs.
What’s great about Bull Creek trap is it’s portability and ease of setup. Combine this with the ability to live view what’s in the trap and drop the gate almost instantly and you have a good recipe for putting a dent in the wild hog population on your farm through trapping. Watch to see the guys put the Bull Creek traps to use in south Texas and take care of over 150 hogs in five drops.
